A coal mine in a northern English village faces closure, which would also mean the end of the miners' brass band. With a cast of familiar faces (including Pete Postlethwaite and Ewan McGregor) this is a solid British drama.

Tony Hawks author and comedian, brings his much-loved first book to the silver screen. Directed by Ed Byrne, the movie tells the story of a disillusioned TV personality whose career has stalled. Accepting a drunken £100 bet he sets off with his unconventional traveling companion for an adventure that proved to be entertaining, educational, challenging and at times downright silly. During the film the fridge is taken surfing, christened and blessed by nuns.
